Many Mexican golf courses are over looked such as ones in Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Puerto Aventuras. These Pacific side cities are filled with challenging courses waiting for visitors to play.
The Playacar Club de Golf, south of Play del Carmen, is a par 72, built into the Mayan Jungle. But make sure not to search for a ball if you lose one in the Jungle, wildlife such as monkeys, snakes and tarantulas might beat you to it!
The Pok-Ta-Pok in Cancun is another great course. With ocean and lagoon views, you will have breathtaking scenery surrounding you.
If you are just looking for an afternoon of golf after laying in the sun on the beach all day, maybe try the Puerto Aventuras Resort. A 9 hole course which cuts right out from the jungle. The best part is, the surrounding foliage offers a cool breeze and you even get a little shade!

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!
Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
